The idea is that the iron melts the wax and the paper towel absorbs it. You may have to repeat a number of times to get it all. But it should work.

Try ironing it using a brown paper bag instead of a kitchen towel I remember my Father doing this and it worked.

A product called Goo Gone will remove the rest of the wax on your fleece jacket. Good Luck !

did you put the brown paper over the fleece? then iron? thats the way it should be done, and may need to be repeated a few times

Try gently combing it in a bowl of boiling water - obviously be careful not to scald yourself. If the wax has a sufficiently low melting point, it should start to loosen and the comb should work it free.
This is only theory, I can't claim to have actually tried it, I'm afraid.

You could attempt using plain paper and an iron, it should stick to the paper, repeat process if need be. Good luck!

You can get wax remover from large hardware shops and from Homebase. Church suppliers also sell it. Read the instructions carefully.

Run the spot under scalding hot water in your sink, it will melt right off. Then wash as usual. :)
