I'm trying to make my own charms and I want to know which sealant/enamel is best to coat a photo. Something like this:

They squeeze clear enamel on top of the charm to give it a shiny round look. Which is best to use? Will nail polish top coats be a good alternative? Thanks!

I use "Diamond Glaze"...you can easily purchase it online (google, ebay) or at your local scrapbooking store. It would be easier to use on such a small project than trying to mix a 2-part epoxy.

They sell the clear, non-yellowing UV resistant resin in liquid ro gel from, that is used to make these photo charms commercially, at artists supply and some craft shops.

See the Instructibles website and search for instructions on ht make photo fridgie magnets using a version of this technique:

Nail polish should not be used; it may peel, yellow, flake or damage the artwork/photo you are trying to encase in the resin.
