This question makes me wonder where you live. I know in Germany they actually taught there was not a Holocaust. But now they are changing that. You want proof there is survivors for one. And more then Jews where killed in the Holocaust. There is many books with pictures. And i haven't been to Germany but i hear that a lot of the gassing buildings still stand today. That's a start.

The Jewish population was not the only population to have it's numbers reduced...the Holocaust affected everyone that has the disadvantage of being in the reach of a madman named Adolf Hitler (jews,romainians,polish,german,italian).

Hitler was obsessed with haveing a race that was 'Pure' and only those with Blond hair, Blue eyes and no defects (mental,physical) were thought to be the 'TRUE' people. He even went so far as to 'reward' women who had these traits, so that they would have children to be raised with his thinking and he even went a step further and issued a 'Standing' order that children ( from occupied countries) who possessed these traits were to be taken from their biological families and 'Germanized' and then placed in the care of loyal high ranking officers families. These children are now known as the LEBONSBORN children.
Hitler's thoughts were that noone but the chosen were fit to rule... if you were not 'ARYIAN' then you were just taking up space,air and whatever else.
The strange thing is that if you look at a picture of Hitler, he had neither Blond Hair nor Blue Eyes.
In some small way, Adolf Hitler thought that was he was doing was payback for the death of his Mother (she died in the care of a Jewish Doctor) and his deadbeat JEWISH father (a fact that he kept well hid).
The tattooed numbers that many survivors carry are or were a way of keeping track of all the people who were in the many Concentration Camps ( your name was listed in a log book, you were given a number that was tattooed on you somewhere and then refered to as that number) you were never again refered to as Jane Doe or Jack Black any more but #11264367865543.

Although Hitler is dead, many who believed him and in what he was doing when into hiding and became what we refer to as 'sleepers'...they hid their past and moved to where they could start a new life and continue their beloved 'Frurers' movement 'trying to create the perfect Aryan race, in many cases taking stolen gold,jewels,paintings and other valuables too 'back' them.
The fall of Communisim in most countries has allowed the truth to come out, although Germany did a good job of hiding it's records for a very long time. The Jews lost a lot of their people, but the Gypsy was almost completely wiped off the map.
The Jewish, just happen to have the mind set that they are not going to let the world forget what happened to so many people all those years ago......most are not wanting anything but recognition, although there are a few who are greedy and figure that if they can make a buck off of the dead who cares.

Well.

I wasn't around in the time of World War II. and I am NOT a holocaust denier.

The Holocaust is an actual event. I have seen pictures of the camps and the emaciated human beings, and I have seen people with tattoos from the holocaust.

But I will say that Stallin killed far more people that Hitler did. Why does no one speak of the atrocities that happened in the Ukraine?

How lucky you are!
you can talk about this matter ..in most of the european countries it' forbidden by law!
So, only a few remarks on what has been written by some of you:
- onesided sources are fully reliable? ( you are not allowed to verify!)
-who was the director of the film taken in the concentration camps?
-do you know that the majority of the buildings in those concentration camps were destroied by allied bombing and then rebuilt?
-do you know how long it takes to burn a corp in a crematory?
So I agree that there were a lot of jews who died, I don't know their number and it changes continuously;
I don't know why the families of jews who were aboard of a ship sank by the Brits received a lot of money and they did not recognise the same treatment to the Italians who were on the same ship.
I would be gratefull to anyone can supply documentary support, since I'm not allowed to discuss the matter.
And finally:
-where those concentration camps different from those ones made in Russia?
-do you know anything about thousands of " german soldiers" prisoners left without food, tents and water?

^ The holocaust did exist, read Mila 18 or the Diary of Anne Frank and read history books, go to the holocaust museum, maybe you'll learn something.

I've known people who were there and had the horror stories and the numbers on their arms to prove it.

Maybe you don't exist. You sound like theirs a lot of hate in your soul, I feel sorry for you.

I often thought; how can i know ? Does nature have a way to reveal the true story through the many ways of story printing. For example. One day a photographer sat out in the cold morning beckoned by only a hunch that a meeting was about to be given to their unique view. Nature came to tell a story on plastic canvas screen . The image of a story revealed by sweat and tears. Recognizable as truly natures way of painting the truth when all thats left are, sweat and tears to use as paint upon the canvas for light.

There is nothing to prove it happened. In fact the Red Cross lists the total deaths in all of the camps at 27400. Less than the number of woman and children burned to death by the allied air strike that turned a civilian city called Dresden in an inferno. The jews pulled us into WWI and WWII and every war since. I have personally met with several holocaust survivors. Ive seen their tattoos, and shared their stories. Its too bad that your education is deficient in recent history. Maybe you think that Josef Stalin was a benevolent statesman?, or that Idi Amin was a fair and tolerant man? Pls, read books and get a clue.

I had a teacher in High school who still had her number tatooed on her arm from a Polish concentration camp. She was just a young girl when she was in a camp.

What more do you need. Hitler loved to watch the films he ordered made at the concentration camps during his dinner an lunch to make sure his orders were being carried out. There are also many speeches made by Hitler to rally the German people to kill the Jews and ANYONE who helped the Jews. Take a visit to Germany and see Auzwitzs (sp?) the remains of the ovens and talk with the people who were children at the time this was going on, they'll know.

What ever you do DO NOT READ Hitler's Pope. Jewish leaders have confirmed that the Vatican NEVER helped Hitler in fact it was the other way around. The Vatican gave Jewish people Baptismal certificates and even allowed them to hide in the Vatican. Children were also returned to their parents and if not their parents, the closest relative. The Author of Hitler's Pope claimed to have access to the archives of the Vatican which he did not, if he did he would have seen the records of the people who were "baptized" so that they could obtain visas and leave Germany and German occupied territories. The Pope also spoke out from the Vatican and had letters read from the pulpits denouncing the works of Hitler.

Also, ask your self, throughout history people have been enslaved, and treated inhumanly-even in our modern times Sadamm did it to his own people with out the aid of concetration camps he just sprayed his people with mustard gas and other poinsonous substances just to see what would happen to them, why wouldn't Hitler have done the autrocites he committed? What and who was going to stop him? He was in a position of power and he rallied his german people to his side. (not all of course, there were those who saw through what he was doing and realized the evil behind him, they too paid with their lives as well as the Jewish people)

Get a grip on reality, Evil happens! It happened long ago in Egypt, it happened in America with slavery and it happened in Nazi occupied Germany and other countries occupied by Germany. It happened in Vietnam and Korea It happened in the late 1980's and 1990's under Sadaam and Quidaffe. It happens to you and to me when people don't learn from history and treat eachother in disrespectful ways. Just because it happened before you were born doesn't mean it didn't happen. It happened at the World Trade Center. Yes people can be very evil and vindictive toward every human who just doesn't see eye to eye with them, or to the weak and oppressed, the most vulnerable of our society.

The short story is: the Holocoust was evil and evil is still with us today. If you don't learn from history you are condemed to repeat it--Winston Churchill.
