I don't think those countries are run by idiots who would actually consider such an outright challenge to war. The US is trying to run a ground war right now, but if those countries all flooded into Iraq I think they would quickly start dropping bombs again.

Hi friend, this is what you mentioned. if it is so, why it has not been happened till now. Even though muslims countries like Syria, Turkey, Iran are arround to Iraq, nothing happened against to US. you are saying that since that countries are bordering Iraq, it can set a bigger war at Iraq against US.

Israel is also bordering with Iraq. invariably, it is supporting to US. Because of Israel's supportance only, US is still there. By looking at this bordering point of view, we can not say that some bordering countries in Middle east of Iraq will attack the US forces in Iraq. They can attack use forces in Iraq, but since US is being supported by Israel, they can not do anything; because there is no unity among the middle east muslim countries specially among the countries you mentioned. You should remember onething here that Israel's Intelligence Agency MOSHAT is behind US.
so even US were attacked, that can not be easily managed with the help of Israel.
in case, If it is so happened, like you say, it sets the ground for bigger war. that is sure.

Probably not Iran or Syria right now at this point. But Turkey is seriously thinking about something. Iraqi Kurds allegedly helped rebels in Turkey. Turkey actually lined up some military against Iraqi border prompting Defense Secretary Robert Gates to warn them not to invade Iraq. Saw that story over weekend.

Yes although at least it isnt on US soil. Secondly, we could very well bring the war back on their country.

If anything, Iraq, if it were ever to stabalize, would be a friendly country for us to attack from if we ever went on war with the other countries.

I dont see how this as a good reason for a faster pullout of Iraq though.

Yes definitely because according to me the reason for Iraq war resources (petroleum) the U.S. wants to have excess over these resources so that it can indirectly get a hold on the world economy because petroleum is a basic necessity in today's world. Sooner or later all the countries will retaliate towards it.

Yes Iraq is a central location to Europe and Asia and we control air land and sea ports,so I believe a big part of the reason we are there still is to maintain a foothold to scare Russia china and N Korea and Iran

No because in a case like that we wouldn't spend all this time trying to rebuild the countries of Iran,Syria, and Turkey after they were destroyed. (ask Japan, and Germany how much help the got from us)
