Have you ever had the desire to know what it'd be like to kill someone?

Ever been standing at a bus stop with a bus coming and say to yourself "I wonder what it'd be like to push the person standing next to me in front of that oncoming bus"?

I hear that many people are curious, but few ever act on those urges/impulses.

I've often wondered...but I've never acted on those thoughts.

Is this a natural curiosity, or is it just...weird?

Good point, Just Me. But then again, that begs the question...is it the fear of punishment that prevents the crime for some? And if it is...why not for others???

Another good response. But what I'm wondering is, is having a fascination with death, and taking it to the point of wanting to see what it's like to kill another person, just a bit of morbid curiosity that everybody has, or is it something that only a few really warped and twisted people ever think about?

And for the record...I'm not planning on killing anybody....let's get that cleared up right now. :)

I spent two tours in 'Nam with a Ranger unit, behind the lines most of the time, where there were lines.
I know what it's like and dwell on it, will the rest of my life. It's not comfortable my friend, get these thoughts out of your head. You haven't seen the action to earn the right to think and, suffer like some of us have, about it. If you continue, I'd say you need help because I am not confortable with them.

a few months ago, 2 australian girls thought of that too, and killed their best friend. now both are in jail, i forgot the verdict, i think they were sentenced to life imprisonment.

are you into gothic cults or something? if so, leave it immediately. otherwise, you really need to see a psychiatrist about your feelings.

there is no need for the law to prevent me from doing it, the love for humanity, my conscience, is the reason why i have never harboured that thought, since the day i knew the meaning of the word "love".

if you need the law to prevent you from doing such things, you seriously are in need of a doctor's help, that's my truthful opinion.

No, I have never wanted to harm another. Even when hurt by another, I will just not put myself into that situation again. I stay away from those I feel are not good for me, when possible. I would not want to harm a stranger either, as they have not done anything to me. Makes no sense to want to take another persons life....plus it would ruin your own if you did. I love my freedom too much.

I'm shocked and apalled at the thought. It makes me sick to my stomach, I can't for the life of me understand how anyone could do such a thing. I think it only natural to think of it, but to dwell on it is demonic. No one should entertain the thought longer than it takes to evacuate it from their mind.
