There is a possiblity that there is a pipe from your septice lines that is leaking odor under your floor. You would know this simply by sticking your head under the floor. If it stinks under your house, then you have a problem with a septic line.

How long has this been going on? I looked to see what was smelling so bad in our dryer but, couldn't find the problem. My wife refused to dry the clothes because of the smell. I couldn't, for the life of me, find out what was causing it.
Then, after taking the entire dryer apart, I found a dead mouse in a very small part of the dryer where it couldn't be seen unless you took it entirely apart.

I know the vent people can clean the vents out good but, they don't see everything and would maybe miss something like this, if it was in a spot that it couldn't be reached.
Have you ever smelled a dead mouse ? if so, you'd get my meaning. Just maybe.

need more information. Is it a gas system or a heat pump?

There is a naturally occurring bacteria that smells like stinky socks that grown on air conditioning coils. It is rare, but it happens. They make a product that can kill it off.

Search for smelly socks heat pump and you should find it.

Check where the condensation drain is going.Make sure it's not to a sewer drain. The smell travels up the drain. Also make sure nothing died in the ductwork, like a cat or mice.. I've been in the HVAC trade for over 20 years and usually its one of those..
