Does it anger Dems to know that the standard of living for single black moms has shot up thanks to the Republicans?

Dems HATED the idea of reforming welfare. Dems fought HARD against the Republicans for years.

This is one thing Bill Clinton did right --- even if it made Dems angry!

~Where do you come up with this garbage? I don't think black families are any better off, and Republicans did NOT force President Clinton to reform welfare. Just as we can't force Bush not to send more money to Iraq! You can't give credit to anyone who isn't a Republican, can you?
I'm a Democrat and I was happy when welfare was reformed. Clinton also got us out of debt, which Bush obviously couldn't stand.
I see a lot of questions from you on here right now David. You're obviously very angry. Get over it.~

I agree. Many things are not as propagandized. Programs like welfare, reservations, etc ensure that there is little hope for advancement. Minimum wages hurt the poor - the very people that it is touted to help by decreasing available jobs. Very little of Marxism has passed the test of time but yet we still adhere to its principles (although nowhere as badly as is done in Europe). I wonder how long people will be fooled by what currently passes as "liberal thought" espouses.

For as much as I have a foul taste for President Clinton's illegal activities, he did try hard to pull the Democratic Party to the center.

black women have also been doing much better by avoiding having children at a young age and have been graduating college at high rates....far higher than black men. black men need to catch up in graduation rates otherwise in 20 years you will see a whole generation of african-americans where all the women earn more than the men in the household...very unsual
