it connects, and i see bars up the top (indicating strength) but it wont connect to the internet! i cant go to the router homepage either! can someone tell me in plain english how to get this pci 802.11g belkin thingy working? ive googled and googled but theres so much code i dont have a clue what im doing, tried to install ndis but didnt know how....i can only do simpel code like ipconfig etc

Not all cards will work properly so I can not tell you that the Belkin will work. I use Orinoco cards and have never had an issue, they just worked. The most common chipsets that work well are Prisim or Prisim 2 or realtek cards.
