How can I get audio out with Final Cut on a Mac Pro?

I have a new Mac pro and I cannot get any clip to play audio with Final cut Express. The same clip will play fine with Imovie. Can anyone help please?

I have the same question!
I made the audio play but I don't know how I did it and now I can't do it again...
but the good news is that it works we just have to figure out how to do it
