Sounds like a hoax, smells like a hoax, looks like a hoax, must be a hoax. Why accept anything you did not ask for? Anytime you do that you are asking for trouble. Avoid any pop-up or email that you did not invite.

Do not forward emails at someone else's request, in effect they are using you to send their spam, this gets them out of the problem of getting through spam filters, and stops them getting blocked. If you happen to forward a known very bad spam message, you can end up on a spam blacklist, which can stop your email.

G'Day,

The Snopes site is good one to check if in doubt.

Your particular wording isn't listed in the reference, but you will get the idea.

If it is unsolicited email for you, it will also be unsolicited for every one you send it to.

Rule of thumb - If you did not ask for it, you do not want it.

These timewasters have acheived their aim, just by having you ask the question and us answer it.

Regards

Gazza
