Admit it, you hate the lakers for being succesfful and for being one of the most glorified franchises in nba history right???

You hate the lakers because they had kobe right?? (Where the hell were the "kobe sucks" chants when he demanded the trade when most people where stickin their tongues out like dogs and begging whether he'll ]end up in their team or not???....

I've been an nba fan for almost 15 years now and i've never seen any other franchise take as much heat and receive hatred as the lakers. NEVER

I respect all the other franchises in the NBA and their contributions to the sport of basketball by displaying the talent they have but the fans are just flat out ridiculous belittling the game and destroying the sportsmanship and flat out hating the lakers....whats up with that?

I admit I am a Laker Hater. Not because of any player or anything that just gives me names to add to the excuse. I am a Laker hater because as a lifelong Spurs fan I have been crushed too many times in playoffs. As far as no team taking heat like the Lakers.. look what the Spurs are going through. They have won exactly the same amount of rings as the Lakers the last nine years but get zero respect from the media and fans. I never drooled when Kobe demanded a trade - he would not fit in well wth the Spurs. I never scream Kobe sucks.. I just do not like the fact he plays for the enemy. You wanted to hear my opinion so, my friend, here it is!

do people honestly hate the Lakers at this point? nobody can deny the success they've had over history.

but why hate them now? usually you tend to "hate" teams that are a threat to the one you're rooting for. the Lakers aren't a threat to anyone in the league at this point. they're a young team with one superstar on it that can't get it done in the playoffs.

if anything, I think people just get tired of hearing everyone run thier mouth about how great the Lakers are. like the consensus between Lakers fans is 'if we keep telling everyone they're great, it'll eventually be the general opinion'. nope. not going to happen.

so in the end, I think it's more "hate" towards the uneducated fans than the actual team.

I used to hate Lakers because I'm a Spurs fan. I still remember the feeling of the playoff defeats the Spurs had from Lakers (Shaq, Kobe & Pjax). But it was a relief also when finally Spurs dethrone the Lakers in 2003.

But now, Spurs are not in the same level with Lakers right now.

I grew up a Lakers fan. My best friend's dad was team doctor. I met Wilt, Elgin, Jerry, Gail, Pat, Jim, Happy, Keith, etc. In 1975, They traded for Jabbar - the arch enemy who Wilt had chased into the rafters after Kareem took the worst cheap-shot I've ever seen at tiny Gail Goodrich. That same year, Jabbar had supported a terrorist Muslim group that took control of an apartment building in NYC, and killed a few hostages (including women). From that moment forward, I have hated the Lakers with a passion. Kobe's behavior just re-inforces my hatred. Thanks Kobe for keeping it alive!

Lakers are the best franchise in NBA history. You hate Lakers because Lakers beat your teams so many times. Kobe, he is the best player in the league now, he rules.
I'm being proud of being a Lakers fan and you are jealous of us.

Sorry to disappoint you but I don't hate the Lakers. I even kinda like old Phil Jackson. But I also think Kobe needs a shrink. Aren't you even a little bothered by the way he's messed up your team? And don't tell me he hasn't--when was the last time they made the finals?
BTW, I noticed San Antonio wasn't in your list of links. What does that tell you?

I hate the lakers because they have cry babies on their team. I especially hate that Kobe Bryant wimp. He's a multimillion dollar punk who needs to shut up and deal with the hand that was dealt him.

im not fond of the lakers..ill admit it..kobe is great..kobe is good..he does all of that..but he never has gotten out of the 1st round w/o shaq...i mean lebron is in the finals now..w/o a center like shaq.so..i have my reasons..but i never like the lakers anyhow..im from the bay area..sorry..
