make me look more like an arab, eastern european, italian, etc.? I am tan but not dark and have brown eyes. I really like black hair. I am not trying to be racist, but just wanted to know what role black hair plays in racial profiling.

It could make you look very ethnic. I dyed my hair black a long time ago and hated it. You should go with the darkest brown you can find. It will be very dark, but there is a huge difference in how it makes you look. I think dark brown is more flattering to the majority of people than black, but if you have the features to pull it off than go for it.

Er there's nothing wrong with looking ethnic, it can be a sexy look but not everyone can pull it off--if your hair is not naturally approaching black already it will probably not look good on you.
I'm half Asian Indian and I have naturally MEDIUM BROWN hair with a few natural blonde highlights, believe it or not. Even if I tried black... I would look washed out!

really anyone I have seen who dyes their hair black, looks very obviously dyed. It looks strange and hard, and sort of redneck. Think how awful it will be to grow it out, or to keep it black.

If you think you like Black hair then dye it. It will grow out if you don't like it. Or change the color again.

i dye my hair black alot. I like it my natural color is medium dark brown. I have pale skin and my dark hair makes it paler..i like it..i dont care who doesnt. its my hair.
and you can do whatever you wish with your hair
simple as that.
