hi guys yeah i have an AMD turion(tm) 64 x2 mobile technology tl-50 1.61ghz.

halflife 2 game console says im runing at 800mhz making me think my 1.6 is composed of 2 800mhz but some poeple say im running 2x 1.6ghz meaning my system is around 3.2ghz, and in a game system compatible sites i pass from a game that needs 3.0ghz (f.e.a.r) saying i have 3.1ghz... im confused please give me the answer in simple terms.

Here's an easy way to check. On your desktop, right click on My Computer and select properties. Under the General Tab, it will state how fast your processor is in Ghz along with how much RAM you have.

Check the multiplier setting in your BIOS.
