After many repeated utterances, "Sorry" begins to sound like an excuse rather than an apology.

If the apology comes without an appeasement (i.e. gift) then it is not made with 100% sincerity.

Saying sorry all the time indicates insecurity and lack of self esteem. It can get annoying when someone keeps repeating the word just for the sake of saying it, I'm surprised you haven't blown a gasket by now, it would drive me mental!!

I hear you, after awhile, its just words. Doesn't mean a thing or they wouldn't keep doing things they have to say I'm sorry for. If they were really sorry, they wouldn't have to keep saying it.

it would be ok, if they mean it when they're saying "sorry"

It would be harder to believe the person if they kept doing the SAME mistake and saying "sorry" for it all the time. you know what I mean?

they really believe that they have been forgiven all the time.

PS
I only say sorry when it slips out.

Love means never having to SAY you're sorry...
It's only two words, and it gets old fast.

Yes.

If I were you, I'd probably tell the person to stuff it and do something right so I wouldn't have to hear his/her pathetic voice apologising all the time.

Yep. Actions speak louder than words. If they don't show you they're sorry, they're probably not.
