I can not find anything on the motherboard pertaining to the company name, I found only an ID and a serial number sticker.

I know it's an old motherboard, I think it has a Pentium 3 processor socket, one AGP slot, and 2 PCI slots. It also has this crazy mini slot that a dial-up card is attached to.

If you go buy a new motherboard and use the new motherboard to replace your unknown motherboard, you would be replacing an unknown with a known. At the conclusion of this process you would then know what company made the motherboard inside your PC without examining the guts.

go to www.belarc.com and download the free program, once it's downloaded it will open a browser window and give you all the specs on the computer, including the maker of your motherboard.
