Sure why ever not? Do whatever makes money for you AND makes you happy!

I was in Tupperware MANY MANY years ago & there were SEVERAL men in that type of business & they were ALL very successful!

SO go for it! What do you have to lose?

Men can be very successful in this type of business... I admire you for thinking about "stepping out of the box". The key to success in any business like this is personal commitment and work. Mary Kay, Avon, Amway, and the like are not get rich quick companies, but can be a lucrative business opportunity for those that take their work seriously.

I have an Arbonne business, and we have several very successful men in Arbonne. Most have started out because they have a spouse or family in the business, they use the products and finally realize that they too can become successful using and sharing something that they love.

Andrew Inman is one of Arbonne's first successful men in business with Arbonne... you can read his success story here:

And there are many more I could point you too...

You can be successful with Mary Kay or any other product that you believe in and use. You just have to believe in yourself.

I would advise that you thoroughly understand the MK compensation plan, and compare their products and company to others in the industry. If it's a fit, go for it. But know up front what you'll be willing to put in to your business to make it work for you.

Good Luck!

I think Mary Kay is a fine company, however, if you can't identify or be passionate about the product you may have a difficult time of it.

Mary Kay, Avon, New Skin, Amway and alike have been around for a very long time. Those at the top have become quite wealthy.

If you are interested in an industry that deals in Wellness products, a non-gender based product line, I can help you reach your goal.

My company is less than 2 years old, is well funded and involved in rapidly growing industry of health care products.

Timing is essential in this industry and there are legacy positions still available, like those long gone in the other companies I previously mentioned.

I am currently looking for true leaders who want to excel and provide themselves with a substantial future. This is not GET RICH QUICK. This is a real business opportunity for the right person/s.

I'm a Senior Beauty Consultant and I think you are making a very good decision. There are lots of men selling Mary Kay and my husband is going to sign up!

Think about this for a moment. Men in today's society are leaning towards better health and appearance and need products that will help them achieve this. Mary Kay has been the #1 selling brand for 13+ years and not only do they carry cologne for men but they also have facial care as well! We have a brand new line coming out JUST FOR MEN!!! It's called MK for Men!

Mary Kay Ash always said "You can do it!" and so can you. Just be aware of those making decisions for you. If this is something you would enjoy doing, then go for it! You are the one with the dreams to fulfill and God to provide!

If you would like more info, you can contact me at my MK website.

***Mary Kay is not a pyramid! There are many and unlimited positions and cash earning you can get! If you have 1 team member and your team member has 10 on his/her team, you will only collect a commission off your 1. The only time anyone collects off their team members' team members is when you are a Director. Directorship is for everyone who wants it.***

All I will say to you is good luck. I hope you suceed. I do think that it is difficult for a man to work in a cosmetic field. Men usually don't were make up. I do know that mary kay carries some products for men like cologne. I wish you all the best.

the way you talk about it sounds like they already worked on you a little bit... it is a business, ok, but,,... all you are doing is selling their stuff. What they do, mary kay, is use your contacts and friends (your circle, network) to push their products and along the way, you get a percentage. In my opinion, they are the ones in business. You get a percentage for bugging your friends and making them buy out of pity for you. After they buy a couple of times, and they no longer pity you and buy from you, and you stop making any sales, they will not care. they will not offer support for you to expand adn so on. Now, if you are all dreamy and teary eyed about it and want to "grow a business" and "ma ke it in business", oh then \give it a shot. Everyone needs a wake up call once in a while

You shouldn't worry about appearing gay. An attractive well dressed/groomed gay man would do very
well in sales of Mary Kay or any other cosmetic company. Probably better than most women.
