That depends...

...in some ways we're not.

Biologically, we are animals and there is no "difference". Compared to other animals, our behavior is heavily influenced by our own specific combination of genetic/physiological traits.

Additionally, we are SOCIAL animals that depend on each other for success and survival first. Second, we carry our culture--our inherited knowlede base--outside of our genetic code.

This adds to our complex behavior.

Animals and we are one and the same because the intial birth of humanbeing is from animal only. Humanbeing further development due to advantage of communication, but now going back as animal dueto selfishness.

We're not at all. Wether we admit it or not, we are just like the animals. We're born, we're cared for, some leave the nest, some are left at birth, some stay close to home. We're just filthy stinking animals :( What animal do you want to be?

HAHHHAHHHAHA

ANIMALS. Your funny.

Humanity does not act like any animal i know.

Like they say in the matrix, we consume until every resource is gone, then move on.

Like ants. Look at apartment buildings and cities. We are insects.

Our only difference is we elect our queen while theirs is born. Sorta. Odd how Bush's family keeps getting in there

We don't do as we must, out of instinct, which carries no stigma.(Kill to eat, etc.)

We have conscious and unconscious needs and wants and we are flawed a little or damaged beyond repair.

We have choices, which is the short answer.

because of our environment, we all are a product of our environment. If our environment was different don't you think we would act different. we are here for on reason to respond to the situations we are put in by the thing that created us.
