Are you surprised at the final bids for such items and what do you think of the Enterprise selling for half of a million dollars?

I don't understand the need to throw away a half mil. But I understand the collecting bug. It is not always the thing that you are buying but the feeling you had when you saw that thing. And what better feeling is there than Star Trek. Everyone loved each other. You were optimistic about everything and even your enemies stayed far away or you could tell who they were just by looking at them..... AAHHH the memories.

I find it hard to believe that people pay that much money for some of the stuff, you never know what motivate such rabid fans.

I'm not surprised. I mean, Star Trek is not Star Wars in popularity, but it's still a great franchise.

When it comes back, it will be bigger than ever.
