Probably not. Bread mold is SO common, our digestive systems can handle it with NO problem. Don't worry about it (Because worry IS bad for you!). -& have a nice baby! :)

It shouldn't hurt either you or the baby. Actually bread molds contain a low-dosage form of penicillin which is a well-known disease and bacteria killer.

If you really want to set you mind at ease though, call your doctor and get a professional opinion. :)

You will be fine. When I was about 7 months pregnant, I had a craving for some pumpkin muffins. Thankfully I was at work, I worked at a grocery store, I bought the muffins, ate one, then I went back later that day for another and realized they were moldy. Ick. I have a very healthy little boy. lol

I reckon you will be fine. I ate everything I wasnt supposed to when I was pregant, raw fish, mouldy cheese, alcohol, coffee, eggs that werent totally cooked, you name it. My son is perfect. Don't worry too much, sometimes you can read too much about pregnancy and it just makes you paranoid. If you were eating mouldy bread every day, you may have a problem. Congrats on being pregnant, its an amazing experience.

I don't think so, but if you feel unwell see a doctor immediately and bring some the bag of bread along for lab tests.

Mould isn't toxic, but can mess up your stomach. The mould can be picked off, but has roots that arent visible to the naked eye - so by picking it off you're not guarenteeing its mould free. Its your choice, but next time keep your bread air tight =]

no i wouldn't think so. food poisoning can be v dangerous for pregnant women however more so with foods such as eggs and raw meat and other high risk foods. Bread isn't a high risk food however if you are feeling ill go to your doctor asap.

our stomachs are actually quite tough....it would take more than a bit of mold to make you sick or harm your child.....just be more careful as food poisoning is horrible all by itself....when your pregnant its a whole new misery

It is unlikely that it will hurt you or the baby, dont worry.

But obviously, if you start being very sick all at once, go see the doctor.
