No, not what most people consider love. There are crushes, infatuation, lust, friendship, passionate love, and companionship (among many others). Most people consider the last two to be "love". But infatuation and crushes are often where love starts.
Some researchers hypothesize that it is easier to become infatuated through online chat. When chatting people it is easy misread or read to much into the intentions of the other person. There is also less information about that person (what they look like, how they act in others situations, other details of their personality.) One hypothesis is that it is easy for someone to fill these gaps in with their ideal match. As you get to know this person better, keep this in mind. It could be the start of something, but be aware its hard to know how compatible somebody is till you hang out with them offline.

It's possible to love that fast, but not likely. True, complete love develops over time. Most people are on their best behavior when they first meet someone.
I moved in with my husband after our second date and we've been together for about 7 years, so it could turn in to real love, eventually. I met him online, too.

Love? No but infatuation can happen that fast. Infatuation can happen in the blink of an eye. I thought I fell in love at first sight once. It was infatuation. You should have seen the Azz on this guy! lol

I met my wife on-line.
(Gay marriages are legal in South Africa).
The first time we met over cyberspace I was intrigued right from the start.
At the end of that day I knew that I was in love, even if it was a soft, fragile, tentative kind of love, it was still there.
We've been together 8 years so far.

Yes, I fell in love with my wife that fast. We just knew it was perfect. We've been together 6.5 years and married 3.
But as with all online relationships, take your time and spend lots of time together before you jump into anything. My wife and I "dated" a year before we moved in together and lived together another 2 before we got married.

Falling in love is fast and easy. Actually loving someone is another thing entirely.

No, you've acquired an infatuation for her.
Not that there's anything wrong with that....just know it's not love. Not yet anyway.
Love takes work, time and trust.

Sure! Falling hard and fast can be exhilarating, but it can also be a little scary.
