I hate to say it, but I think genetics are more important than any creams you rub on your belly.
If the coca butter is giving you a rash, use a lotion you like. It will help with the itching.
I think if you're inclined to get stretch marks, you'll get them regardless of what you do. I'm so sorry.

This may never go away. It not really that bad. Try Olive oil, it not take much. Also, Vitamin E it come in those capsules and a liquid. Poke a hole in a few caps and rub it around, vitamin E helps make the skin more viscous so it can stretch without making marks. Sometimes it help a scar/stretch mark go away.
One last thing, if, you know an old black woman ask her. I knew this woman and her Grandmother made something for her and she never had a stretch mark. I ask what it was, but, she really not know. But, her grandmother did. ;-)

hi i was the same and got loads of stretch marks - everywhere!. I tried loads of products but i think it is just keeping the skin moisturised that is the important thing - forcomfort too. I have seen a product called bio oil advertised - it is available in chemists in orange bottle (uk), costs £8.99 which claims to help scars and stretch marks. Check it is ok for pregnancy though cause as i say just saw it advertised.
They will fade afterwards so dont get too down about them. Good luck with your happy event

If you think you have stretch marks bad in the 8th month...lol...wait till the 9th! I had some stretch marks TEAR.
No joke. They itched till they bled & they tore. I did NOT know that could happen. & this was my 2ed baby.

try an oil such as olive oil it will lubricate the skin so it stretches as you unborn child grows it won't get rid of the ones you have now but stop the worst one that will come as the baby gets to full development after your birth most the stretch marks will fade in time it is a natural thing don't be ashamed by it Dave

sorry honey but this late in the game what's done is done and it was never really much under your control anyways
my first pregnancy gave me terrible marks in several places on my body....i was devestating to my ego and my once perfect size 7, athletic 125 lb body
but you'll learn to accept them
but if you want to try something else then go for shea butter, olive oil, and make you eat enough veggie fats!
veggie fats are essential for skin repair, growth and maintainence
avocado
olive
flax
soy
nuts and seeds
even if these cannot control stretch marks it's the best sure way to hydrate your skin, eyes and hair from the inside out

Nothing works for stretch marks as i got them really bad when i was expecting my first and tried everything. You'll be glad to hear that they do and will fade through time, they'll go a silver colour and you'll hardly be able to notice them.

There;s nothing...sorry!
Stretch marks are a fact of pregnancy for most. Its the layers of skin splitting under your surface layer of skin.
They'll deminish in time.
Focus on something else...no point worrying in something you cant change.
Good luck with the new arrival! xx

Bio Oil is meant to be really good for preventing and reducing the appearance of them but nothing makes them go away completely, I have loads but they arn't half as bad as they first were, only I notice them really.
You can buy it from most chemists and its around £8. xx
