You will probably get a ticket for driving with-out a license. Not too cool, having your kid in the car.

Hello,

I am not sure what your question is exactly but I know about the laws in Australia for this kind of event.

As far as I can see you have taken the correct steps in waiting at the scene and submitting a report to the police.

As far as liability, if the person you hit fails to make a report then there is no liability to you on their part. However, you were unlicensed and thus (in Australia) also unregistered and so it becomes quite a hefty fine and may prevent you from being able to apply for another license for a period determined by the courts. It depends on circumstances, location and facts.

As far as I can see, you will have to accept whatever punishment that they serve to you for the unlicensed driving, but otherwise, there should be no further liability to you beyond that point.

I hope this helps you out a little, even though it applies to Australia, I am sure that it is similar for most other parts of the world as well.

have you been approached by the cops? or any other governmental agnecy for that matter? if not then get your car fixed and get a legal license. if you have I can only suggest that you get an attorney to protect you and your child. you do have mitigating circumstances that might be arguable in court but since you do not have alicense that might be a moot point in wa because you were driving illegally anyway. still I would contact a lawyer in your area and go from there. I hate to burst your bubble but if anyone of those thugs got your plate number you could be in some serious trouble ahead. contact a lawyer in your area as soon as you can and let them fight for you.

The coverage company is in touch simply by fact the different driver made a declare. That canines has barked and it won't be able to be corrected. you would be able to correctly be in my opinion in charge considering you allowed the unlicensed driver to apply the motor vehicle. you would be able to ought to recover from him.

I'm afraid the cops won't be happy to know that you had an accident without your driving license.
