I watched it for a short while and was embarrassed and had to turn the channel. How can people lower themselves to appear? Do they get paid a lot of money?

your not the only one, I have a sister in law who watches that stupid show everyday, and I just don't understand it......I literally can not take more than 30 seconds of him and that show without just getting nauseous! It's not "just" the host, or the "guests", it is the whole thing......it is him laughing his way to the bank while obviously uneducated people (beyond the 6th grade it seems) with absolutely not one ounce of class are up on that stage embarrassing to the world as human beings, that they act like that..... sickening to say the least....I am not prude by any means, that show just goes way over the top in the discusting and senseless sense.....UGH......:p

The people who cast for Jerry Springer scrape the very very bottom of the barrel to find those people.. when I say the VERY bottom, I mean BELOW all of that slim and guck that you see with your naked eye. They have no standards. Morals. No respect of self. It's pathetic and sad.
Don't think they get paid money - could be wrong - but they get a free trip... and that's a big deal to those types.

All the people that go on his show are just actors. They are hired to put on a show. It usually looks fake even. He was caught for hiring actors years ago, when he did not have enough real people with problems to come on the show and act up. Now it is all acting. I do not watch his show. It is overdone!

I have been trying to ban that show from my home for the last 8 years, and my husband insists on watching it. The people are real, the topics are real, and it is still the worst highest rated show on t.v.

actually the producers tell them to act tat way to keep their ratings up. you can watch a show about it on VH1. it is called the Springer Hustle.

Many people would do anything for those 5 minutes of fame. Quite sick actually. The funny thing is my grandmother (who doesn't understand English) loves it.

yes most of them a paid ones, but there are some real crazy ones too.. Maybe the guys brings the best of crazines in all..
