I feel sure that the (fully-evolved) person who discovered fire was known by others in his community by some name, even if he didn't INVENT fire (that would be like inventing water--not a job for a human). However, his culture obviously did not have a written form of whatever language they spoke. Somewhere along the line, his name was no longer remembered for this achievement. So we do not what his name was to his people, but we could agree, if we wished, to simply call him Fire-Man. I'm sure he wouldn't mind.
And......
Why did you think that a single man could have "invented" fire, but that it would have taken 2 or more women to do the same?

No one "invented" fire, it just happened, usually I guess from lightening strikes on wooden things, or maybe volcanoes. If you are asking who the first person was to discover fire could be deliberately made from striking flint on rock, no one knows; since that person was prehistoric.
There's also the possibility that several persons discovered this at roughly the same time, probably while working stone for tools, maybe in different locations, and no one person was responsible.

Watch the Movie Cavemen, there you will find the answer. Ringo Starr plays Attuck, who discovers fire, music, walking upright, and wins the love of the beautiful Lana, only to... well I won't give it away. But fire's inventor is definately Attuck.

According to one legend, his name was Mu. He discovered fire (not invented it)......it was 'given to him by the gods' (in the eyes of his people). It was called Mufa, (mu's fa) but later changed to simply fa. It has been transliterated to fire from there, by some twisting and turning of the evolution of human language......
.....actually I just made all of that up. But it sounds good, right? Sounds like a 10 pointer to me!

No one invented fire. It was discovered. Fire was around long before anyone thought it was useful.

It happened before we were fully human, before written language. So, no. They might not even have had names.
