They let Carlito hit Torrie again tonight. WWE should not show men hitting women - people bring their young kids to wrestling and I don't want them to think that it's o.k. for boys to hit girls.
I know Carlito's Mom didn't raise him to hit women!

Lets put it this way..
Any parent who knows anything about WWE's brands and takes their kids to a RAW taping or lets them watch the show on T.V. should expect bad influential behavior on the show.

This is the same show that has featured partial nudity, lesbian kissing scenes, people crotch chopping yelling suck it and storylines involving homosexuality, dumping feces on people, kissing a 50 year old executives *** and necrophilia.

As you know from my post's I'm an old School fan, and worked in small promotions in my past. My girlfriend is a total wrestling fan from the attitude era on..

But neither of us allow her Children to watch RAW, or ECW. Smackdown no problem.. but never RAW, or ECW as they are not scripted as family shows nor do they claim to be.
RAW and ECW are both rated TV14,
Smackdown is Rated TVPG

Any PARENT who has a problem with a male "wrestling talent" hitting a woman "wrestling talent" as a performance, on a show rated TV14, and is taking their children to or are allowing them to watch said show, it's not the show that is the problem but irresponsible parents.

You are the adult and decide what your kids do or do not watch. If they aren't 14 or mature enough yet for a TV14 show why the hell are they allowed to even watch RAW?

If they are 14 and don't know by now that WWE is really a performance or that hitting women is wrong.. again..
It's not the show but irresponsilbe parenting.

It's like those whiney parents you see on Maury Povich, bitching that their 11 year old dresses like a tramp, and screws 25 year olds.. Where did the money come from for the clothes.. They gave it to them, who let them out of the house to run the streets.. the parents did..
Who's fault is it.. an 11 year old child or the adult who will not take control and be a parent.

So I disagree.. you have nothing or no one to be angry at but yourself if youre allowing your kids to watch RAW in the first place. Grow up and be an responsible parent for crying out loud.

* According to the Australian television rating system, wrestling is inappropriate for those under 15. Anyone who takes children to a wrestling show is an idiot.
* Wrestling also promotes violence, and violence in general is not okay, but you only get offended when a woman takes a wrestling move? I suppose it's perfectly okay for men to get hurt, to the point where some legitimately lose their health and lives in the squared circle? Sexist bigot.
* Heels attacking women should be used rarely, but is still one of the most effective ways to get them serious heat, and if Randy Orton can mock the legitimately dead Eddie Guerrero, then Carlito can do a fake wrestling move on a woman.
* Carlito owns.

OK, we get it. Violence against women is not OK, But it's just a soap opera. Meaning that Carlito and Torrie were just playing roles. it's the same thing when Randy Orton beat up the legendary Ric Flair. Randy was portraying a guy who is mad at the world for holding him back and he was gonna take out whoever got in his way. Hence, his victim tonight was Ric Flair.

I don't normally post in the wrestling area, but I saw the thread in the listing under sports, and wanted to respond.

The last time I watched wrestling was about 4 years ago when The Rock punched Stephanie McMahon and gave her the Rock Bottom. The crowd went crazy, cheering Rocky on. I turned the TV off.

Vince glorifies abuse of women. His defense is that there's a market for it, and the woman-beaters get what they deserve at the end... but he's still showing impressionable minds how to beat women, and he's absolutely wrong to do it.

Shawn Michaels and Undertaker is the only ones that ought to qualify to be interior the biggest journey Mafia. in line with danger Jericho yet he does no longer do tremendously much as good. considerable journey Mafia are wrestlers that are legends or will definately grow to be legends. (Matt Morgan hasn't formally joined the biggest journey Mafia yet). You checklist for front strains are not WWE originals. they did no longer positioned WWE on the map. Like AJ varieties did.

You go girl......our generation grew up with the best foundation for boy/girl relationships. It'll never be right to hit a female for any reason. Self-defense is a different story!
I"m also in total agreement with the "dwringside".

Its the same sort of deal with they turned Hulk Hogan into Hollywood Hogan (the evil nWo version of himself).

Kids saw their idol turn evil. The WWE said that now that they had shown what kids should be like (the good Hulk Hogan), they are showing kids what they SHOULDNT be like (the evil Hollywood Hogan).

The WWE has enough lawyers and money to make any concerns float away, and can always seem to justify their choices.

There are a thousand ways that the WWE could draw heat for their wrestlers without this type of storyline. Stephanie is currently in charge of creative, and sadly this is probably the best she can do. With the money at their disposal, they could do better than the soap opera wannabe writers they employ now.

He is an "actor". He was only doing what was scripted for him. Yes, it is not right for a man to hit a women, but how right is it for a man to beat on another man? It's the parent's responsibility to sensor the violence their children see on TV as well as at a show.

Yes.WWE is becoming more and more violent. They should ban this wrestling matches as this would result more injuries. They say they have been trained for a lot of years making sure their moves are not dangerous but eventually as I watch these wrestling matches, superstars got hurt badly. This is not a good example for our young ones as they might try to conduct some of the moves to their friends and this can be very dangerous.
