If I had a say, I would judge the day by the sunrise..
for with every day the sun rises, that's a start of a new day
sunrise signals the beginning of a new day.. every day
a new day heralds another day of work, love.. and play
waking up in the morning with a renewed sense of hope
sunrise beacons.. be ready to face another day
for great things.. great beginnings.. begin with each new day!

But if I had my way, I would judge the day by the sunset..
count all the day's work at the end of the day
fill my heart with pride and contentment
for all the things I accomplished through out the day..
renew my conviction to do more the next day..
wait for the night to end and look forward to a new day!

the sun still shines.. the sun still sets..

sunrise is always beautiful, begining of a new day, still the pain to face, but such sweet pain,it gets you thru the day and by sunset you remenice, relax and enjoy knowing you have done all that you can do during sunrise to make life better, or at least tried, sunset brings bittersweet memories, and thankfulness that you were all you could be that day and you give thanks for the people that you have come in contact with , and maybe have helped along the way , then you go into your own little world like a coma , rest peaceful relaxed

Probably both. I love to get up before sunrise; I feel like I'm "starting off" with my world. Step in step. Sunset is so nostalgic--the softening & calming, the prelude to night. So, I guess I must. Yet for some reason, the hours after midnight to dawn seem drifting in space. Not really time at all. Yes! Definitely. The day doesn't begin at 12:01a, it begins just at sunrise.

I bless the day at sunrise...I give praise for the day at sunset. My level of acknowledgment and appreciation is a gauge for how I have chosen to spend the time I was given. Each is a reminder to be grateful for what I have. So I guess I don't judge either...I use both to judge myself.

Neither actually, i judge it by the experiences i had during that day.

Of course i could wake up in the morning and think wow what a beautiful sunrise, i bet its going to be a really nice day or i could look at the sunset in the evening sky and smile to myself knowing that is was a really nice day. Those feelings are possible of course, but its really the events of the day that define it for me.

I do not judge.

By perceiving each experience and acknowledging it by the value of the true nature of the experience, whether that be an amazing one, an ugly one, a heart breaking one or a disgusting one, each has an intrinsic nature of impermanence allowing us to acknowledge these experiences for the experience of its nature alone letting it arise and fade away to move onto the next experience without judgement so that there is no fear or shock or dismay associated when the experience dissipates and no necessity for negative thought, only acknowledgement and recognition.

Judgement necessarily requires preconception and our perceptions may cause false judgement. Mistakes due to preconceived perceptions of experiences especially of experiences relating to others are the main cause of misinterpretations and misconceptions, causing undue suffering. Experiencing relationships with others is especially fraught with pitfalls if judgement is made.

I therefore do not judge. I start by being non judgemental of the day and continue with being non judgemental of others. I continue being non judgemental of all experience and this results in an acceptance of every experience by accepting its true nature and enjoying every experience as such.

Peace from a Buddhist...

I get things done or earn my money especially during sunrise. Sunset on the other hand is for relaxation in whatever appeases my consciousness. It is also a time for recollections---- resting on low morale, family harmony, and fostering of relationship.

I have to say by the sunset because that is towards the end of the day and I don't judge my days until they're over with.

might desire to it fairly is your modern-day awareness of the sabbath is wrong? All so generally, each and every physique is confronted with issues concerning a enjoyed concept, and as a result, even straight forward data or data to the different to those ideals are disregarded and spun away. this style of individual refuses to avail themselves of interpreting their ideals critically. Revelation 21:22  and that i observed no temple therein: for our lord god Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23  And the city had no choose of the sunlight, neither of the moon, to polish in it: for the enormous distinction of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the sunshine thereof. 24  And the countries of them that are saved shall stroll in the sunshine of it: and the kings of the earth do deliver their glory and honour into it. 25  And the gates of it shall no longer be close in any respect the way with the aid of day: for there'll be no evening there. No evening means no cycle of days and nights. It means no weekly sabbath day. .
