The LA County Sheriff's Office, the agency responsible for the Lynwood women's jail holding Paris Hilton, has a special housing unit, not just for celebrities, but principally for any prisoner who would be at risk in the general population. That could include inmates who face a greater risk of violence, such as former cops, persons who testified against other prisoners, people whose crimes are likely to provoke the ire of the other inmates like child molesters and murderers and of course celebrities. Celebrities are at risk because an obscure prisoner facing a long sentence might try to gain notoriety, or a reputation within the prison system, by killing or raping a celebrity. Some of the inmates in the county jail are serving sentences of less than a year, some are in jail awaiting trial because they can't afford bail and some have been convicted and await sentencing, which in some cases could be decades.

She could have at least waited until tomorrow to go to jail... It would have given me something else to Celebrate Oh well..Cheers! I'm celebrating Early! Don't worry, Butch Magoo is waiting with baited breath! Maybe she will write an expose for Hugh Hefner and do a commercial or two for Carl Jr Hamburgers or raise money for Mother's and Fathers against NAMBLA. LOL
