Yes, but it's typically positive because I always wear nice (collared shirts, pants that match) clothes that are also visually unique and appealing. No one else ever wears the things I wear and people compliment me all the time.

If you're being judged negatively, compare your style to others. It great to be unique, but if it's weird people may judge you poorly.
i.e. don't go dressed to a job interview dressed like something far removed from that field style (professional job = coat and tie classiness).

Anyways, to answer your question directly: yes both negatively and positively, but it's the other person's issue if they don't like you because of your clothes.

Yes,I have. At work I have to wear scrubs because I work in a medical office. All the patients think that I'm a nice helpful and respectful person. Then, I go to a bike show and I have my leathers on and I get hit on ! Whistled at and teased. So yes people do judge you by what you have on. Here put this star on and let's find out what people are gonna say about you....

Not only have I been judged for it, but I do it on purpose. I went to the store in brown 60's pants, a faded pool company shirt, sandals, and a really horrible wig (it still looks real though).

Well, people passing by mostly gave me the "I'm not supposed to stare but I have to" look. People tried harder not to look at me than to actually stare!

Yes when i go parties / functions and dinners, the wives & the ladies will glance at each other's dresses / purses / shoes.. of which i can't afford designer brands like they do. I felt a distance in an instant.

Since I came from an exclusive school, most people do judge you from what you wear. Dressing neatly and approriately sometimes to count.

actually yeah. most people think that i'm some plain jane, because i wear jeans and t-shirts or polos all the time and i don't rock the latest urban gear or whatever but when i go out for the night, it's a whole 'nother story...
