By attacking Iraq and completely exacerbating the situation over there, we are putting our mission in Afghanistan in great jeopardy!
Afghanistan was already a large enough and challenging enough mission to accomplish. We need to stay there 20 years if that is how long it takes.
The world community understands why we are in Afghanistan and will not question or challenge our mission there!

Uh! Oh! Another hillbilly manifesto hits the blogosphere!
My father was a 22-year career Marine who enlisted in 1947 and served his country obediently in Vietnam.
Members of the military don't get to pick and choose the wars or conflicts they want to participate in.
But it is up to all voters including members of the military to vote for a wise and humane Commander-In -Chief who doesn't spend our blood and treasure like a former coke-snorting drunk airman who still hasn't got a clue!
A Blunderer-In-Chief is what we are stuck with now, but I'm not going anywhere sister because this joke of a president will be out of the White House on 1/20/09 and I want to stick around and help pick up the pieces of our shattered republic that this clown has left strewn everywhere!

It's worth noting 9/11 was the only thing that re-elected Bush.
With Clinton, we got a good look into what JFK's Presidency may have been like; with Nixon---we see George W. Bush.
And the last eight years of Bush's blundering time and time again serves as a painful lesson to ALL US VOTERS to learn the lesson of VOTING WISELY; to take a hard look at each candidate and choose the best one QUALIFIED to LEAD US....not lead us into ruin.

Nope...the honor of most inept President goes to Lyndon Johnson! He was responsible for our loss of the vietnam war.I was there when he halted the bombing of North Vietnam.By making that foolhardy decision he enabled the enemy to rebuild their defenses and caused the deaths of many more American pilots and aircrews. When politicians get their noses into a military battle they have a history of causing us to lose.As Commander in Chief,President Bush is doing a good job and is trying to prevent us from withdrawing before the Iraqi's are prepared to handle their own defense. The only humiliating thing is the way our liberal press is attempting to undermine our nation. For the sake of all of those men and women that have died in this conflict, and for all of our many wounded,we must not show the world that we once again can't finish a job we started.Support your President and the fighting men & women. No matter what you think or know, there are many things going on that the public never knows.

Well, James Buchanan wasn't too good. He didn't do much to prevent the arrival of the Civil War. U.S. Grant was a much better general than President. Warren Harding was more or less asleep at the switch. And Richard Nixon, well, you know about him.
While the Iraq situation has a chance to be remembered as one of the worst foreign policy blunders ever (and, I emphasize chance), he has a long way to go to fall in with that crowd.

It's things like this that make the entire American electoral system seem strange and unrealistic (at least to an outsider)...
Correct me if I'm wrong - but don't you have to register as being either a Democrat or a Republican before you can even vote? And if you register with one of these two groups, then you pretty much have to vote for whatever candidate they put forward...
That doesn't make a whole lot of sense - if there was ever a 100% turnout on election day, then they would know EXACTLY who would win even before the polls closed...

Its not the answer you are looking for, but I think only the test of time will determine the answer to this question.
20 years from now we may be learning that Bush was an innovator in the war on terrorism..or something.
As a product of the 60's, I can tell you that Reagan wasnt nearly as popular in the 80's - when he was actually president - as he is now.
He was viewed as an old crazy man that couldnt do anything right...now he is viewed as one of the top 5 presidents ever.
If you let the media shape your opinion of the president, then he is the worst ever...but give the media time to rip apart a dozen more presidents before deciding Bush is the worst ever.

You poor naive people, you have no idea what you are talking about. Well most of you dont. Yall sound like the Michael Moores, Alec Baldwins, Tim Robbins, Sean Penns, etc.....of the world, no political experience, only money. If you hate this country and the President, LEAVE!!!!! Our government was falling apart way before Bush came in to office. Above all, you haters need to support our troops for giving you the freedoms we have and quit trying to change the world.

JIMMY CARTER was, and is, a traitor to this nation. To those who hate GWB I have a question? Where would we be today if we had nor responded to the threats we face? Any sane person can SEE that our nation would have been attacked repeatedly.......with deadly results. GWB has been effectively deterring our violent enemies. The liberal media does him much dirt. Check out the conservative TV and radio - they will show you the truth about GWB, and the real war we face against ruthless villians who would wipe us off the face of the earth if only they could.
