It can't be cause Beniot doesn't have good mic skills.
cause if that was the case then Lashely and Batista wouldn't be main eventing they don't have a ounce of charisma or mic skills
Beniot is the next best wrestler in the wwe next to Taker.

In my opioun if the wwe pushed Beniot Shelton and Nitro to the main event level ratings would go up.
and keep batista and lashley and Cena far away from the main event

Benoit isn't main eventing because his last main event push didn't draw. Management isn't "holding him back," he's an extremely valuable asset (look at MVP's improvement for proof), but he can't draw. He's boring. It's not even a lack of mic skills, he just doesn't have "it." People freaking LOVE Batista. People go crazy over Batista even though he sucks. Some people have different specialties. Chris Benoit wrestles well, and Batista sells PPVs. I totally agree that they need to hand the reigns over to Nitro and Benjamin, but I think they could use a lot of help from Benoit and Booker T to make them true main eventers.

Benoit has main evented before. But he is getting barried in the large WWE roster. Vince would rather push guys like Batista or Cena. Wich is lame, cause Benoit has carried the world heavy weight championship before. Very well I thought.

Benoit was actually going to retire a while back, but the WWE wanted to keep him around for a few reasons. One of the reasons was to make the US Championship a credible championship, but now they're flushing that down the tubes by giving it to MVP. Benoit agreed to stay on as a part time wrestler, but that's all. That's why you didn't see him that often for a while even though he had the US Championship.

'cause the company management prefers mic skills OR size/power ahead of technical proficiency (i.e. wrestling skillz). you're right, lashley and batista have no personality, but they are big. size sells. benoit has better moves, but he has no personality AND he is short compared to many of the main eventers. i believe personality and size both count as "stage presence" in pro wrestling, and benoit just does not have the stage presence to sell tickets as a main eventer.

Not sure but, he should! Question is - Does he go to RAW or stick with Smackdown? Or does he get sent to pasture and go to ECW? Fact is, they need to shake things up. Cena, Batista have had there time. It's time to move over for some fresh talent.

i 100% agree with the guy that answered above me. benoit never drew during his reign as world champion, and while he is an absolute artist in the ring, his mic skills are really appalling, which does affect his presentation.

Chirs is a great wrester but he's not in the main event spot light. whenever he chooses to be he can. but that's not what he's going for now.

Honestly, I think it's his physique...he's built and all, but he seems a little small in stature
which is a shame, cause he's one of the best
