Mix borax powder with hot chocolate powder and sprinkle. You can find Borax powder in the laundy aisle at the grocery store. 20 Mule team is a brand of it.

Home Depot sells a very good product that you spray around the out perimeter of a building that's non-toxic to pets and humans and has little smell.
It's not messy and doesn't advertise that you have roaches. By the way, they're searching for moisture in the house at night.
I used this on the 125 homes we had and the 75 condos.

Boric acid powder lard syrup. Makes what looks like peanut butter shape into balls or worms or just pinch off little pieces and throw them around outside the hoese or put it in a big syringe ( no needle) and use like caulk.

Borax powder will take them down. No mixing involved. Non toxic to humans and pets.
