So given the fact that most of us ARE interested in a middle ground strategy, I'm going to do my part. America in its heart is all about put up or shut up right? Beginning soon I'll be publishing a site to accumulate as many opinions as possible from as many Americans as possible to truly try to find a balance. Don't worry, I know how deeply extremist people sometimes burn out, so you'll be able to update your opinions as well. I used the word manifesto glibly, and I'm sure we're going to hear a much from people about religion but I am sorry, all rational people in all walks of life advocate a separation of the church and the state. If I'm wrong I'll soon know with certainty. What shall this report be titled? Any suggestions?

I don't have a title just a suggestion for now. It is ironic that your mention of "extremist people" is in the middle of your request.
Having been involved with the investigation of embezzlement and fraud issues I had contact with a lot of retired and active Police, FBI and a very long and interesting talk with a DEA agent. These guys loved to share war stories. Extremist = obsessive. Please be sure you remain anonymous

Well, right off, the founding fathers statement, "separation of church and state" refers to the European value system they were escaping from! Where the Catholic church had acquired so much wealth and power, that the kings and queens of Europe, would do nothing without the consent of Rome and the pope! It never reffered to the beliefs of the individual until the Liberals mucked it up with their outrageous debating skills! The best title for your Manifesto, is "My Manifesto"!
