Base on my experience, even the paid Anti virus software (I'm using PcCillin) isn't necessarily able to clean every kind of malware.

Here's what I would normally do. Most spyware run malicious code that will redundantly use your CPU. Hit Alt + Cltr +Del, go to processes and look at the CPU column. If there's any process that is using up 50% to 100% CPU, and is NOT any essential Windows program or program you're running, select that process and click on End Process. sometimes it might be process like svchost.exe, you may want to terminate it if it's using the CPU full load all the time.

This will help any virus scanning runs faster, but in some cases, the malware might continuously spawning processe to load your CPU, and there are some that you can't terminate them at all. In such case, you might have to run your antivirus scan patiently. Most malware files are found on your system driver, so for example, you might want to just scan your C: drive only if the scan is taking too long.

Another case is that the malware might disable the Windows Task Manage already to prevent you from terminating the malware processes. Spybot can fix this problem, its a completely free program, dl it and update it, then let it run a check on your system.

Alternatively, your can do your virus clean up in Safe Mode. Most virus files cannot be deleted manually when its running in Normal Mode. Reboot your PC in Windows Safe Mode. Hit the F8 button after the POST screen at the start of your PC. Then when asked to select Windows to boot up, hit F8 again for more option and select Boot up in Safe Mode. Most malware will not be loaded under safe mode, but some do. But in any case, its easier to do cleanup in Safe Mode. Only downside is some software might not run under Safe Mode. But as far as I know, most antivirus can scan your system in Safe Mode.

Now under some rare cases, Antivirus software scan might not be able to completely clean certain malware. You may try different antivirus software but that will be time consuming and has no guarantee for success. You may want to manually delete the malware files by looking at what exe file that may be the malware. Use HijackThis, another free tool where it list all running programs, programs that are loaded at start up, as well as the file path. It can fix any suspected file but you will still have to manually delete the actual file, HijackThis usually fix the registry and make the exe not to auto execute when your system load up.

Finally, if everything fails, and you have System Restore turned on, just restore it to the day before you got hit by the malware. If you successfully restore to a safe point, this will usually guarantee a stop to the malware.

I certainly have promote and instructed human beings approximately it for years and prevx even gave me my very own key for a year for yet another of my computer. CSI is for malware and undercover agent ware. sybot does not even get out each and all the undercover agent ware. human beings will argue yet I certainly have tried all of them. maximum all will slow your device down additionally and load a lot of stuff on your device. prevx does not do this. there is plenty documents that ought to ought to pass on your device that prevx compares your documents to there malware documents base. study it. in case you do no longer prefer the CSI application, you could in simple terms get prevx 2.0 examine the fee plans out. i will garuntee you have become the final.

it seems like you have a big problem... if you want you can try AVG antivirus but i will have only around 5% chance of solving your problem. what i would do is:

>back up your files onto a CD/diskette/USB storage etc... and then reformat your pc completely...make sure to install a good antivirus next time or else your problem will just come back again...
