Princess Diana 's passing was intensely sad for me, and I didn't know her at all.

I remember feeling very sad when Diana was killed, and also when Pres. Reagan passed away. I don't think I cried, but I was very sad.
Nothing beats my grief of 9/11 though...

Yes the first was when Freddie Mercury died. He was such an icon, I couldnt help feeling the loss - there'll only be one Freddie, such an original.
Then Kurt Cobain who i intensely admired as a musician - its awful to think how depressed, lonely and isolated he felt to have killed himself while having a baby and wife (who was so screwed up and hardly a help to him).
Diana was sad because she was quite screwed up too - tough having that life from the time you're 21and having your marriage turn out such a joke and being the outsider in the Royal household. Sad for her kids mainly and the freaksh way she died - so ironic and sad that no paparazzi were charged with criminal endangerment.

The only two for me was Princess Diana and Aaliyah....I dont know why but I felt such an intense sadness when the passed way.
I didnt cry but, I was also very sad when Kurt Cobain, JFK JR and Anna Nicole passed away.

I would have cried when Marilyn Monroe and Elvis and John Lennon and Kennedy died if I was alive!
I must agree Princess Diana was a sad one!!! Especially since the evil Queen probably did it!

I was saddened over Princess Diana's death as well...and I felt a real loss when Ronald Reagan died...I know he had Alzheimer's for years, but it was still sad

I can cry at the drop of a hat - I cried over River Phoenix, Kurt Cobain, Michael Hutchence, Tupac, Chris Farley and Proof. I'm sure there's more but thats all I can think of right now. Its always a tragedy to lose talented people in the prime of their life.
