It seems like they were pretty contemptuous of Democrats when the GOP controlled all three branches of government, and now that things have changed, giving them a taste of their own medicine seems appropriate to me. But when I post such things here, I get lots of thumbs down. Are the Dems trying to be better than that? Or are they wimping out? Or is there a third option I haven't considered?

We don't need to . I would prefer to stand back and watch them kick each other. With the failure of the Bush presidency, so tied to the Republican party and the Conservative movement, I watch with not just a little gratification as they try to distance themselves from the Bush administration and its failed policies. Neocons vs Christian evangelicals vs GOP Conservatives, vs Grover Norquist anti government Utopians.. , all embattled amongst themselves is more than enough. I see no point to kick them as they splinter and argue.

thank you on your honesty, i be attentive to it may desire to have taken plenty to post and that i congratulate you on it. besides the fact that, you could desire to be take care of on your help of him, even without the debates. and you could desire to be clean that Obie is the incorrect determination, even without the debates. in case you could desire to question the two, then according to possibility you may desire to reassess your stance. Now, that pronounced, please be attentive to that it wasn't a query of stalling or canceling. the two McCain and Obie are senators. it is their interest and accountability to do exactly what McCain did. And, I quite have self belief McCain will look (and make a grand front) and could in addition to kick Obie's ***. We (taxpayers) are paying ol' Obie over $a hundred,000 a 365 days ... for what? To shirk his accountability? it sounds as though that way. He had to be SUMMONED like some college youngster or an absentee worker (how embarrassing) to do what he's PAID to do. it incredibly is not remarkable although. Then, because of the fact the genuine-to-type baby-kisser and con that he's, he tried to curl it to make it look as no count if it is quite a competent concern. because whilst is shirking accountability a competent concern? nicely, needless to say because Obie began passing out kool-help. (would not it hardship you that Obie ran from all of city-hall debates and however the Dems shushed it and made excuses for it and it became into swept under the carpet)? after all, take a deep breath, reassess the justifications why you supported McCain interior the 1st place, and shop the religion. each and all of the suited to you (and u.s.)!!!

I think that the extreme levels of hate held by the Dem for Bush tops it all.

There is a way to speak to one another without resorting to the basest of animal behavior, yet so few find virtue in anything anymore, and respectful dialog was the first to go, I suppose.

I wonder if a Dem candidate spoke and acted as some of the hateful posters in this forum did, would they have a candidacy anymore? Likely not.

The Democrats has control of both houses for nearly 40 years before the Republicans gained control in 1992 and really abysed their power. They continue to push this once great nation to ruin.

Democrats have had the majority in the Senate since mid-term. What have they done? NOTHING. Why? Because they want votes not the responsibility of having an idea and sticking with it.

Actually, its called being mature. This place is getting worse and worse. People, put aside your beliefs for a second and stop with the insults. Start actually trying to have an actual debate.

That's not really a valid question.

What you refer to is just a lot of posturing for the voters.

Both the Dem's and the GOP have little interest in doing what best for the country, unless it serves it's own interest
