I know there is a child missing because her parents left her alone in a hotel room, but I don't understand the jokes about the pope. What exactly happened?

Madeleine is still missing. Her parents are doing their best to keep her memory fresh in the minds & hearts of the public. I hope & pray she & other missing children will be returned soon. As far as jokes on the Holy Father are concerned, just ignore them as the trashy tasteless ignorance of some pathetic folk who have no idea of the meaning of reverence.

i hope this lil girl is found safe and sound.... silly as it sounds considering the sick world we live in... but i truly hope they do.
its just sooo sickening the thought of someone hurting a child. bout the pope and the jokes.. i dont know wat thats about but people are ignorant..they turn anything into a joke
