The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides. I love that book, and I really think you will too.
Also: Go Ask Alice by Anonymous, The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk, The Cather in the Rye by J.D. Salinger.

You would be better off asking on the Books & Author's catagory in Arts & Humanities section.
For movies that feature this type of stuff (tragic teens or young adults stories), try:
A Walk To Remember
Brokedown Palace
Girl Interrupted
Boys Don't Cry
Love Story
Autmn Harvest (?) Richard Gere and Wynonia Ryder movie.

Mmm...this may date me a little, but I have never heard of the books you have mentioned. However, The Outsiders is a great book (as well as movie). You don't get much more teen tragedy than what's in that book!

well i don't think its a teen tragedy but i would suggest the book Twilight. its REALLY good. it does have some teen tragedies but its fiction and its about a girl falling in love with a vampire so yeah i don't think it counts. but if you haven't read it yet you should and new moon to its the next sequele to Twilight. trust me its really GOOD!

Bridge to Terabithia, by Katherine Paterson. You can go to your locla public library and ask the librarian to help you find books like that. There are reference books they can use to help zero in on specific types.

Almost Lost is good. It is nonfiction, but it is very good. There is another book called Little Jimmy that is worth reading.
