Why hasn't he/she heard anything yet from the school when it's been two months almost?? the stupid dean told the student she's faced with criminal charges. She's not and she called the police. Even they have no idea what she's talking about!

A district attorney is the only person who can "bring charges," and they usually only do it when a police agency investigates and submits a report to the DA's office.

The fact that two months have passed without you being contacted by the police likely indicates that the dean blew it off, or that the police blew off the dean.

She needs to see an attorney immediately. A college dean knows betters, and can be sanctioned by the university for making such a statement.

Why doesn't one of her parents call the school and find out the status of the complaint????
