People are basically paying 10 bucks to see fabricated snuff films at the movies nowadays. Why are people so obsessed with violence?
EDIT: to anyone who wants to be a smartass, no I'm not talking about "bad" news.

Not sure. Wouldn't it be great if the paper just printed good news for one day?!

Violent movie audiences put themselves in the role of the attacker---the REAL ONE in control/power over the object of their resetment/hatred. They quietly play the gory scene out in their imagination.....drained by the release after the intense scene is done.....and the defenseless (or deserving) victim is well done in.
