an exhibitioinst is a person who likes to a call attention to themselves (usually naked and in some sexual way) and it is a kind of compulsive psychological drive.

That depends if the person is an extremist-- you can be an exhibitionist because you always are the center of attention and will be willing to do ANYTHING to get that attention and keep it--that's the norm.
Now, if you have an unrelentless desire to dance naked in the streets--streak across a stage at a concert- get up at 3 am to lie naked in the street of new york---you need help.

There are two types of exhibitionists.
One is a person who exposes their genitals to others or dresses in a very provocative manner.
The other type of person is a person who does anything they can to draw attention to themselves and make themselves the center of attention.
Maybe these two are related, well, I am sure they are sometimes.
Exposing one's self is not normal, but wanting attention may not be a full fledged mental disorder.

It is pscycological.
Medically it can also be known as the Lady Godiva syndrome and Apodysophilia.
Mostly it is exposing oneself to other people. Rather than sex in public.

from my understanding of the word it is someone who likes to have sex or do sexual type things in front of other people. That is their thrill, someone watching them.
