Boring is good. Beats gang violence 7 out of 7 days a week. Maybe you're just not thrilled with the country western atmosphere, or the way people in pickups like to run smaller (and therefore, less important) vehicles off the road. :) Look for the silver lining. Are you an educated type? Then you could really make some money there. A little money could make a boring place a lot more exciting.

Based on the kinds of question you ask, it seems to me that Abilene isn't the problem. Boredom stems from your own incapacity to make life interesting. Instead of expecting to be entertained, find a way to be entertaining and it will all fall into place.
