I do wonder the same thing sometimes. There is something about making up stories that appeal to kids, to see what people would say, and when they get the response that they are looking for then they will always go one step further. Its a shame. Parents really need to monitor children's computer time.
Whenever I see a question that doesnt make sense, I will go ahead and look at their past questions, and even some of their answers, if the dont add up, I will tell them to go play with their Barbies..

I completely agree with you. I know probably many people are telling the truth about the situations and there questions, and I also so know many people aren't. But how will you really know? People can just give the best advise they can give to help that person out. Or tell them what they would do in that specific situation. Because maybe the person really did "get molested" but yet, maybe they didn't. I guess its just a chance people have to take. The same chance people take when they answer your questions.............

sometimes there is a hint of truth but overall for the two points, i mean so of the question posted are so far out that if they are ture the people should be going else where and not posting here, because i mean overall how can any of us help someone for all. All we can do is give sound advise. Which not every one will take.

Well I see where you're coming from...but...
Have you ever thought that some of those peoples leaving those "dumb" questions may actually be going through what they have written out. And maybe they are reaching out for help. you never know something comforting, or helpful you say to someone who may or may not be in need could save the from something. you never know.
Just think

i think the reasoning behind answering those questions is that alot of PARENTS out there ARE morons and don;t know what to do in a situation like that, most of us would rather give them advice out of good faith in hopes that if it IS a true situation that our collective answers will help that individual get the help they need, and theres nothing wrong with that.

its not that you dont know the person and theres ppl that actually go thru that and seek help but theres always those morons that want to make a joke about it but you just have to decide whether you think its true and answer them or move on with those losers!

Because what if one of those people accutally are looking for real advice, or need your help? Not everyone is well educated, and how would you like it if you asked a question, that you really needed someone to help you with and no one answered?

it adds random spikes of excitment in peoples lives. most people go from day-to-day routines and never have anytihng go out of normal. so when they c these "someone molested me" q's they have that 'spike' of excitment. basically lik the news. do u really think that if the news tlked bout puppies and rainbows they would get alot of ratings??

I think it's because they want the 2 points. And also, if it *is* true [which most of the time it isn't], it'll be even more damaging if everyone is like, "bull sh*t!"

What if the question we chose to ignore is the one who actually needs help.
