Depends on how the artist(s) view their music efforts and sound. Example:
Heavy metal band: Name: Dreadnaught (has that dark, Danzig/goth/euro sound to it and sounds like "dread not").
Savvy jazz: Name: Artesia (Sounds very success oriented, a well timed blend of old traditional jazz with the FUTURE of jazz sound evolution).
Southern Rock: Name: Ace's High
Country: Name: Longcoat or Longbranch
Alternative rock: Name: Crap (why not.....isn't there a band out called "Snot"???)
Rap: Name: "Crap" (what rap is w/out the letter "c")
Rock: Name: Apex ( 80's sound)

othrwise my chemical romance afi fall out boy him(dark light was a great album) then panic at the disco stuff like that
