It's actually very bush league and sets a poor example for younger fans. I personally don't find it amusing, but it seems to be the new sexy thing for the Sportcenter gang.

It's very rare that managers come out to argue a call. It just seems like you're making a big deal about it yourself by asking a moronic question as this. Any person with a brain can figure out that managers in the big leagues have to protect their players if it's a horrible call they're going to protect their players. Who cares it's the parents responsibility to go over what really went on and the reason why it happens.

What do you expect, real journalism? Forget it. Television wants spectacle. Save a world, destroy a world, who cares as long as it's done showily?

And sports reporting has always been the kiddie pool of the media. Given the state of "real" journalism in these dark times, we should all be relieved that ESPN even realizes there are 30 teams and not just 4 or 6.

It is a little ridiculous, but then again so is some of the "news" that is shown on the major news outlets. At least in this situation, it is not something that is shown everyday, and parents of youths can educate them that this is indeed an aberration.

BUT, that tirade the coach threw from the Mississippi Braves was HILARIOUS. I could watch that over and over. And thanks to Sportscenter and YouTube, I will.
