Humility is when you are humbled and contrite. You do not think of yourself as best and you regard others feelings as more important than your own.
Humiliation is when you are made to feel lower than you are. When people condescend and treat you poorly to make themselves look good.
I would say that humility and humiliation are almost direct opposites.

Humility is a virtue. A person who possesses it is not arrogant or pompous.

Humiliation is an embarrassment that can possibly cause humility.

Yes I do know the difference. I try to practice himility however after being humiliated so much I tend to explode on occasion.

I am a Domme...th answer is "YES...." I most certainly can....it is a daily application for me.....and one I need to heed more than the other I dish out from time to time.....

Yes...great question. It is a fine line. One has modesty, one is the result of a lack of modesty (sometimes).
