Scripted? How could that even be possible? Do you think that ABC can go into random families homes and make them memorize and follow a script? These 4 year old just so happen to be amazing little actors? Their families too, they are all really great actors with no training what so ever?

No it's not scripted and no it's not the same situation.
Apparently you've never been around many children before or never had any of your own.
Just go to the Mall and people watch, you'll see SEVERAL families that could be candidates for 'Super Nanny'.
Plus, go read Jo Frost's bio and you'll see that she is legit.
Bottom line, there are similarities is some of the cases shown. But, I'll guarantee that many people are going through this stuff but they fail to get help. Or they put up a front like they're the perfect family in public but it's hell in private.

Obviously a lot of these people answering this question do not observe families these days.
You could not script the totally unaware parent and monstrous untrained children they have on this show.
When did people stop knowing you have to love and discipline your children. They require guidelines to avoid being like all of those on the show. That is the job of all parents.
It is sad that the parents are so ignorant on child rearing.

No I don't. How different could all that crap in each family be. I mean how much worse behaved do you think the kids could be? I have seen kids behave like that. My kids have had their share of tempers as well. I don't believe children could follow a script like that with their own families.
All who think it is fake should just realize this is the world we live in and just do your best to keep your children well behaved, that is what I do. I have tried some of her techniques and they do work.

I personally think it IS scripted.
For most of the cases.
Just like Jerry Springer.
Same kind of thing.
Horribly dysfunctional people in most of these situations.
There are a few that might be real, but, I think for the majority, it's fake.

Your right I think it is too, I never thought of that until you mentioned it but you are right. The same exact situation. Like you know what she is going to say before she is going to say it. So its like when you watch one show you've seen them all!

I've never thought that it was. But maybe they all seem similar because ABC chooses similar families, ie: kids that don't behave.
