Are there any US pennies that are worth money (ok, other than 1 cent--ha ha)? I know there's that steel one from 1942(43?), but what about old pennies like 1910's and 20's. Is there a site that lists valuable pennies??

Actually, the 1943 steel penny is not worth much. That was the primary penny minted that year; they used the copper in munitions for the war. If you find a copper 1943 penny, it could be worth as much as $100,000 depending on which mint it was struck at.

Here is a link to the approximate value of wheat pennies from 1909 to 1958: http://coins.about.com/library/coin_values/bl_wheat_cents.htm

If you have some time, go to your local library and see if they have a coin collecting book. It will give you some chapters in the beginning that tell you how to evaluate the coins and the later chapters will have specific coins.

Good Luck!
