I'm an online role playing game junkie!

Still recovering from WOW, lol.

But i've been through just about all of them.. to include some people above me pasted from websites instead of typing something (cough cough!)

To one degree or another I would find something that put me out about it.. TOP down look (cheesy), 2-d graphics, immature people playing it (runescape!), glitches all over the place, poor support, stuff like that. (kinda like most of the games people have mentioned in this thread....)

Then I found one and have been with it for awhile now:

www.rubiesofeventide.com

Granted, it does require a download. But it's a one-time deal. THey don't do huge updates all the time like some of the games.

Rubies has actual 3-d graphics.. great sound track, lots and lots of area to explore in a group or by yourself. It has crafting and spells and everything you could want from a good RPG.

It's got like 140 character classes, 6 races, etc.

It's just an all-around fun game for whatever you set out to accomplish for whatever time-frame you want to play (no 8 hour raids or 4 hour dungeons where you can't leave, that type of thing).

ANd if you like soloing there are just as many opportunities to do that as there are parties (no penalty for being in a party so it's just as much fun only faster).

Look me up on the phoenix server.. I'm scallawag, Rapscallion, twitchn and I might have some gear for ya!

I don't suggest 3D MMORPG, becuz your gfx card seems unable to run them smoothly. But I got some really cool 2D MMORPGs for you,

Lunia Online: http://feature.mmosite.com/lunia/

Lunia is an action-packed arcade game that you can feel with your fingertips by manipulating the keyboard to issue commands for an unlimited number of combination attacks. Harmony between essential RPG elements such as character growth, community system and arcade game action.

Trickster Online: http://feature.mmosite.com/tricksteronline/

Cartoonish type MMORPG, a little bit similar to Ragnarok Online.

Eudemons Online: http://feature.mmosite.com/eudemonsonline/

The Eudemons Online is a fantasy MMORPG game. In this mythic world, you can choose to become a Warrior, Mage and Psychic. Command your heroes to adventure on the vast land of Atlantis and challenge the power of sword and magic

They are all free to pay and pretty fun indeed.

I went inactive for 2 weeks and it took me back to the academic and that i grow to be exceptionally a approaches. yet once you have an pastime in text fabric based mmo's in basic terms IM me or message me and that i will supply you links to three.

It will depend on what you want, but you could try Ultima Online. It has low computer spec requirements. And, it has been around for nearly a decade.
