i think that the two lessons that i took from this are that one person can make a difference and that all it needs for evil to win is for good men to do nothing.

We learned that the German people were willing to be controlled by a terrible monster, and dictator, who made them think they were far superior to any other race. And for that, they easily and eagerly accepted, and participated in the human sacrifice and atrocities of the Jewish people, as if it were a birth right to do so. We also learned that one man, a kind, courageous, individual could make a humanitarian difference in a terrible time and place. Schlinder took huge risks of his own life, wealth, and freedoms, to save those he did.
