The Thief of Always - Clive Barker - trust me on this one!
The Talisman - Stephen King - I loved this when I was your age. I could read it over and over again.
The City of Ember - About a kid who lives in a land where it's always dark - good twists - I loved it!
Peter and the Starcatcher - How Peter Pan came to be - so good! I haven't read the sequel yet.
Mister Monday - And all the rest through the day of the week - a good fantasy series.
Gregor and the Overworlder (Underworld Chronicles) - I love books about underground civilizations - this is one and there are others in the series.
Neverwhere - Another underground society one. Might be a little too old for your age, depending on how much you read. Neil Gaiman is so good! he wrote Coraline which is god, too, and geared towards a younger audience.
A hat Full of Sky - Be warned - once you start reading Terry Pratchett's Discworld books you won't want to stop (although most are for adults, but nothing worse than anything you've seen on TV I'm sure!).

Enjoy!

A great series any way you look at it is Rick Riordin's series. The three books so far are The Lighting Thief, The Sea of Monsters, and The Titans' Curse.

They follow Perseus, or Percy, who turns out to be the son of an Olympian god, on his adventures. Other cool characters include Annabeth and Thalia.
